The appointment of Clinton Thursby as the new Chief Financial Officer of Catholic Charities Bureau, Inc., Superior has been announced by Alan Rock, Executive Director of Catholic Charities Bureau. Mr. Thursby is a native of Michigan who moved to the Twin Ports area with his wife and two children four years ago.
Mr. Thursby assumed his responsibilities at Catholic Charities Bureau in mid-June. He is succeeding William Anderson, who is retiring after 42 years. Mr. Thursby has a variety of experiences in the accounting field and received his Bachelors of Business Administration from Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti, MI. Mr. Thursby states to be pleased with the opportunity to work in support of the many programs and services Catholic Charities provides across northwestern Wisconsin and portions of NE Minnesota.
Tracing their roots back to 1917, Catholic Charities Bureau has grown to include 58 programs serving 73 communities. The work of Catholic Charities Bureau remains dedicated to creating an environment of human dignity based on mutual respect, understanding and trust for all people served in support of the social ministry of the Diocese of Superior.
