On November 4, 2014 Bishop Peter Christensen was appointed as the Eighth Bishop of the Diocese of Boise, Idaho. Bishop Christensen (pictured above left) joined retiring Bishop Michael Driscoll for a press conference in Boise following the announcement made earlier in the morning by Pope Francis.
