USDA Rural Development Washington Administrator visits Catholic Charities Bureau

On June 30, 2016 Tony Herandez, Administrator USDA RD, Stan Gruszynski, State Director, David Schwobe Single Family Housing Program Director, Donna Huebner Multi Family Housing Program Director, and Kelly Edwards Public Information Coordinator visited Catholic Charities Bureau.  Our Executive Staff had the opportunity to discuss and show the good news of Catholic Charities Bureau.  We discussed our rich history, Mission, Philosophy of our shared Social Ministry in the Diocese of Superior.  The group toured CCB Housing facilities at Phoenix Villa, St. Mary’s Hall, and Elmwood Apartments as well as the Hydroponic operation and campus at our Affiliate agency, Challenge Center.  The discussion centered around the needs of the people we serve and potential opportunities of the two organizations.  Their contingent was extremely complementary of the good work and large geographic reach, which was their reason for the high level visit.  Catholic Charities Bureau was honored to be selected for this meeting and future prospect to extend and enhance our relationship.
