Established in 1973, RSVP of Douglas County provides a wide variety of volunteer opportunities for mature adults, age 55 and over, in areas where needs have been expressed in the community. RSVP volunteers are placed in over 40 sites throughout the county serving the specific needs of each public or private non-profit agency.  We are especially looking for volunteers in our Senior Support Services and Literacy Projects. Areas of service would include Elder Peer Support Volunteers, Senior Home Repair Volunteers, Driver Escort Volunteers, Healthy Life Style Volunteers, Elementary and Secondary School Tutors, Adult Literacy Tutors, and Pre-school Story Time Volunteers.  RSVP also offers a wide variety of other opportunities where volunteers can apply their skills and talents to support the community. Mileage reimbursement is available. Come and join a growing group of individuals dedicated to improving the quality of life in their community.

Serves Lincoln, Oneida, Vilas and Forest Counties. Provides volunteers for public and private non-profit agencies, museums, schools, nursing homes, libraries, senior centers, hospitals, etc. Develops and supports opportunities for older adults 55 years of age and over to stay or become active in their communities through volunteer service. Mileage reimbursement provided if needed.
